Mobility problems can cause stress for the whole family. We have carefully researched and chosen some of the top products to help your dog get his or her life back.

We carry wheelchairs for dogs and ergonomic lifting harnesses. Most sizes are in stock, meaning we can quickly get them anywhere on Oahu! Our Nursing Technician will come to your home, fit your dog with the correct size, and walk you through how to use it. We are also available to help if you have problems.

Dog Lifting Harnesses

Harnesses – Large dogs frequently develop weakness or difficulty getting up as they age. There are many, many different lifting devices available for dogs.  So many clients and colleagues gave us rave reviews about the HelpEmUp(TM) Harness that we decided to carry them in stock. These harnesses can be adjusted to maximize comfort for your dog and ease of use for you. We’ll help you find the right size, and our Nurse Technician will visit your home along with her patient assistant Fred the Zebra (pictured here) so that you can practice putting on and taking off the harness without causing discomfort to your dog. Harnesses are available for sale with a reasonable return policy in case it’s not the right solution for your dog. Dog Carts (a.k.a. Dog Wheelchairs)

Wheelchairs can be a game-changer for dogs who have partly or completely lost use of their hind legs. A special adapter (sold separately) can provide stability for the front legs as well. Wheelchairs can aid in rehabilitation or recovery after back injury or surgery, or they can be used indefinitely for permanently disabled dogs. We rent out small, medium and large Walkin’ Wheels(TM) brand modular dog carts, and we can special order the mini cart for purchase.

Wheelchair rentals include sizing, assembly, home delivery, custom fitting, and follow-ups to make sure everything is working out OK. If the chair isn’t right for your dog, we’ll recommend some other solutions to make the home environment easier for him or her to navigate.

Home Mobility Assessment

Not sure what your dog needs? Assistive devices and modifications to the home environment can make life easier for both you and your dog. We’ll survey the home environment, and make some suggestions based on your dog’s needs as well as your schedule, budget, and lifestyle.
