Twix Agcaoili
Febuary 22, 2007- March 12, 2022
A.k.a- “Twixxy Boy, Twixxy, Tiki, Bubba, Handsome Boy”
Deana adopted Twix from a family with 2 young daughters who insisted that she keep his name Twix. Twix also happens to be her favorite chocolate bar, so she wasn’t opposed! Deanna herself was just 15 years old when she got Twix, for the next 15 years they would grow up together staying the best of friends and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Twix was smart and knew how to keep his ‘ohana on their toes! He could open a 100lb+ gate to get out of their yard, starting a game of chase that would almost always leave them out of breath. Though it was frustrating at the time, his mama looks back with a smile and would love the opportunity to chase after him again. Twixxy boy also knew how to give kisses, offering a sweet smooch whenever told “kiss mommy!”. His love and affection was an instant mood boost and is deeply missed. He loved a refreshing car ride and feeling the wind on his face. Twix loved pizza crust, Filipino foods like pancit, adobo or igado, chicken of all types (especially katsu and fried), croissants, and most of all… a fan favorite, French fries!
There were too many wonderful memories to count, 15 years have gone by too quickly, but each moment spent together has been a treasure to his ’ohana. Twix is lovingly remembered by all who knew him- especially his mom Deana, dad Darryl, brother Jaden, mama Ligaya, papa Dean, aunties and uncles, “hooman” cousins, fur-‘ohana: Mango, Roxy, Brownie, Bear, Bella, Deano and Biscoff. “You’re forever my “goodest” boy… My Twixxy boy.” <3
Nani Barientos
May 1, 2006- July 21, 2022
“Nani Rincen Namba” (meaning: beautiful precious gift) Barientos, was the perfect name for you, as you were the best gift God could have ever blessed us with! You truly were, and always will be our little princess! From day one, you brought us so much joy, love, and laughter! As a puppy you loved everyone, especially those who gave you tummy rubs. Then you blossomed into a wonderful Tibetan Spaniel that had a mind of your own with a distinctive howl to boot. You loved your “family” and “food” and the kitchen was like a second home for you. Your daddy will never forget the sweet long kisses that you would give him on a daily basis. He loved every second of it Nani. We also enjoyed watching you grow and learn, when you were training and competing in your training classes. We also had fun watching you win all those ribbons (wink wink). But what touched us the most, was seeing how you loved and nurtured your four beautiful pups. You were such a good mommy, and a good girl! You set good examples for your sister, Keona, and your son, Kekoa, which we are grateful for. Thank you for enriching our lives! You will always be in our hearts and we will cherish all the special memories of you! We all LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH! Until we meet again…
Love you and God Bless you Sweetie,
Daddy, Mommy, Keona and Kekoa
Maggie Brennan
2005- 2022
Beloved friend and family member Maggie, forever missed and so loved by her ‘ohana.
Cookie Monster Castro
Aka- “Cooks, Cookie Mons”
November 17, 2011- September 30, 2022
On December 10, 2012, Natalie received an extra special birthday gift from her husband Dennis. He adopted and brought home a 1-year-old dog that they decided to name “Cookie Monster”, perfectly fitting as he was known for being a sweet little rascal! Cookie Monster loved hanging out with Dennis while he cleaned his golf clubs, car rides, and going for walks. He was the type of dog to change the minds of even the most fearful dog people with his willingness to adapt to any situation, be family’s house or the vet! Though Cooks didn’t bark much except for when the doorbell rang, he did have a way with words and was known to scold his parents with his Scooby-Doo “dog-talk”. He was the best combination of sweet and silly, and charmed everyone who crossed his path. Cookie Monster is so deeply loved and wonderfully remembered by all, especially his mom Natalie, dad Dennis, and Grandma Nancy (“Grancy”).
Hanzo Chinen
January 3, 2008- December 3, 2022
A.k.a- “Choko”
Before heading off to college, Drake suggested Sharon and Russell get a dog to keep them company while he embarked on his new adventures. Sharon happened to meet a Japanese Spitz breeder during a doctor’s visit and asked for a mellow dog. The breeder tearfully chose Hanzo, who also happened to be his personal favorite, to join the Chinen ‘ohana! Russell named the dog Hanzo, the samurai name of the swordmaker in the “Kill Bill” movie, which perfectly matched his independent nature. Hanzo’s favorite treats were the freshly roasted Japanese and Okinawan sweet potatoes, liver, Parmesan cheese, turkey and carrot broth that Esther cooked for him. In his younger days, he loved running around the park with his pal “Buddy”. As he got older, he enjoyed prancing downhill (just not so much the climb back up) and getting lots of hugs and kisses from Esther! Hanzo wasn’t big on tricks but certainly understood the sound of his ‘ohana asking if he’d like to go for a ride, giving them his most adorable head tilt accompanied by big, excited eyes! He was also a well-known peace maker, getting up on his hind legs and pawing at people to indicate that it was time to relax. He wasn’t one to follow orders and marched to the beat of his own drum! Russell remembers taking him to the local park for a training session and as soon as he got his collar off, Hanzo took off and ran home instead. After learning to stay within the park, he’d tease Russell by running straight past him when called to return! There was even a time he leapt out of a parked car window to follow Sharon into the grocery store! There were too many amazing memories to count but his ‘ohana warmly remembers children and pet owners stopping them to take photos with Hanzo or to pet him. His gentle nature welcomed it. He was even excellent with cats. He’d curiously watch stray cats without ever barking or going after them! He later happily shared his home with Kiki, Jiji, and Haku too. In the evenings, Hanzo loved to sit on a rock wall in a community park and watch the sunset over Diamond Head. One evening, around Christmas time, he sat on the wall and Security Manager Denny pulled into the parking lot to get some work done. Denny spotted Hanzo and offered him a greenie treat, a gift that was deeply cherished! His ‘ohana shares, “Hanzo is the kindest, sweetest and most self-less being we have had the privilege of knowing. He brought joy and smiles to everyone that he met and we were lucky to have spent time with him all these years. We miss him dearly and look forward to reuniting with Hanzo again on the Rainbow Bridge some day.” Wonderfully remembered by all who knew him- especially his Dad/chauffeur Russell, Mom Sharon, Aunty/cook Esther, Brother Drake, Brother in Law Alex, Nephew Haku (Italian Spitz), Nephews Kiki and Jiji (Ragdoll cats), Dog walkers Aunty Veronica and Aunty Paula, Walking buddy Rice Ball (Japanese Chin), Vet Tech Kerstyn and Security Manager/friend Denny.
Princess Doi
August 9, 2011- April 9, 2022
A.k.a- “Daddy’s baby, Mommy’s little girl”
Princess was given to Janelle and her husband as a wedding gift, they were elated to have her there on their special day. She was certainly her mom and dad’s princess and sure did live up to her name! She was not only her parent’s baby but also loved her “boyfriend” uncle Allan and appreciated playing rough with uncle Emeric too. Princess was known to have boxing matches with the big angry birds stuffed animal she and her sisters received for Christmas one year, standing on her hind legs and taking jabs at the imposter! She also loved sitting on her couch on neighborhood watch, even if she knew who was outside she made sure to bark letting them know she had eyes on them. Princess was smart and knew how to lure her parents into the bedroom to engage in a quick round of playtime before bed. She was protective of her things and would bark and play bite if you attempted to sneak anything away!
Princess had many favorite foods- vegetables, meats and even peanut butter treats. On her birthday, her dad would even prepare her very own steak. She also loved her small toys, she would shake them profusely until they came flying out of her mouth! Princess’ favorite place on earth was the beach, feeling the warm sand on her face and chasing after her birdie friends. She also knew an impressive ballerina trick, her mom would hold up a treat and she would get up on her hind legs in a twirl! Princess was an excellent listener always making sure to return home when told to “go home” after a nice walk. She was a fan of opening her own presents on birthdays and Christmases, needing minimal assistance to see what’s inside! She was such an excellent friend and furbaby, her parents miss her dearly and her mom will always remember having her beach buddy and care taker by her side during the good days and bad. She went everywhere with her mom and loved being along for the ride! To know princess was to love her, and all who crossed her path miss her dearly.
“Princess was a loving member of the Doi family she was a loyal companion. She will always be our favorite “hello” and our hardest “goodbye”. She will forever be missed and she will always be loved and remembered by everyone especially by me, her daddy, and two sisters Carlimae and Carriann.”
Abigail Ferreira
August 17, 2010- February 4, 2022
A.k.a- “Abby, Abby Jean, Babbs”
Heather had always wanted a Bull Mastiff, and she also always wanted to rescue a senior dog. Ever since she was a child, she had always felt for senior dogs that were torn from their families to be put in shelters. She told herself that when she had a house and family of her own, she would adopt a senior dog and give them the best golden years possible. These were things her husband kept in mind during his weekly scrolls on the Humane Society’s website, and one week he saw a Bull Mastiff for adoption! They headed there right away only to unfortunately be turned down. He continued to flash photos of dogs available for adoption in hopes that one might catch Heather’s eye, and after about a week of her hun pressing she finally decided to look at the site for herself. That’s when she saw a 10-year-old senior dog named Abigail, headed down to the shelter again but this time came home with a new addition to their ‘ohana. The Ferreira’s spent some time with Abby and brought her home to introduce her to her new fur-siblings, she fit right in and everyone got along immediately!
Abby loved everyone she crossed paths with, especially if you showed interest in petting her. If you even thought about stopping, you were met with a friendly but firm reminder nudge that you weren’t finished yet. She loved going to the dog park… for the dog lovers. She was smart and new this was an excellent place to solicit folks for some quality pets! Abigail was a lover of food and not too concerned about what it was, so long as it was edible it would be enjoyed. She was also a fan of naps and loved catching some shut eye on the couch or her parent’s bed. Back when they agreed to puppysit for friends, Abby became the best hanai mama looking after the curious puppy and napping along side her.
Abigail was a loving member of the Ferreira ‘ohana who will forever be missed. She is wonderfully remembered and so loved by all, especially her mama and dada and her fur siblings: Hau’oli, Juno, Pooty, and Roscoe.
Brutus Garcia
October 23, 2017- September 16, 2022
A.k.a- “Little man, Wiggle butt”
Dakota adopted Brutus from the BVSPCA in Dover, Delaware while she was stationed there. The second she saw his sweet baby brown eyes and the way his ears perked; he had her heart! Brutus came with his name and it was so fitting for him that she decided to keep it. Though he didn’t love the idea of fetch, he absolutely loved any ball that squeaks! Brutus would sit and keep the squeak on repeat and was even known to fall asleep with the ball in his mouth. He was taught to have a response for anyone who “flipped him off” with a barking scold letting them know he knew exactly what they were trying to say! Brutus’ favorite foods included the occasional banana slice, apples and blueberries. He loved going for his walks, to the park, and couldn’t get enough of his rope toys and balls. Each morning that Dakota woke up to turn over and say, “good morning” greeted by his paws tapping her with excitement to start the day, are now treasured memories. Brutus was a sweet and loving boy who easily made friends everywhere he went. His little brother Caesar misses their rough housing, and his family deeply misses his warm presence… but his love will continue to live in their hearts forever. Wonderfully remembered by all- especially his mom, dad, and adopted brother Caesar.
Evie Gould
June 1, 2005- March 1, 2022
A.k.a- “Jeeves, Cuncheenie”
Our sweet little companion. She will be missed terribly by her mom, Peggy. Peggy’s human children will also miss her, Julianne and Stephen. They were the ones who saw a Pekingese win a dog show on TV in 2005. They said, “that’s the dog we want,” and the rest is history.
Evie loved her walks and sampling the cat’s food. She survived cats: Tiger Lily and Powder Puff (Pop) and leaves cats: Sapphire and Tommy behind. Tommy, the Birman, was her seeing eye cat near the end and he was truly bonded with her. He is very sad she is gone.
Kahu Hall
2013- 2022
A.k.a- “Bubba, Kahu Boy”
The Hall ‘ohana picked Kahu up from a good friend of theirs on March 12, 2013 and it was love at first sight. Kahu means “protector or guardian” and he was sure to live up to his name in the most loving way. Every Christmas they would take him to the Honolulu City Lights and couldn’t help but chuckle at all the kids pointing at Kahu saying “Look mommy, a bear!”. Though he did look like a bear, he was a gentle giant. Kahu enjoyed his raw food meals but particularly loved pork, chicken, and chicken feet! His favorite thing to do was go for a ride. Kahu had a handful of issues that don’t even begin to compare to the number of amazing memories that he shared with his ‘ohana. He may have had a loud bark and an intimidating look, but his heart was big, and his touch was gentle! Kahu always wanted to be involved in what his ‘ohana was doing and they miss him dearly. He is so loved and wonderfully remembered by all- especially his dad Mike, his mom Tanya, his brother Abe and his sister Naomi.
Cindy Klein
A.k.a- “Schmoogle”
July 1, 2005- September 1, 2022
Steven found Cindy whose original name was “Candy” on PetFinder.com after a rescue organization, MuttsNMore rescued her from a kill shelter just hours before her time was up. He picked her up from the train station on August 15, 2010 and headed back to NYC, the rest is history! A decision well made as Cindy still had lots of life to live and she was now along side the best people to do that with. She was always the first one up and ready for a walk, rain or shine. In fact a favorite memory of her ‘ohanas involves their trek over the Brooklyn bridge after Hurricane Sandy flooded the area of their apartment in downtown Manhattan. Cindy was just happy to be outside and going for a walk! She was also a voracious eater and LOVED all food (among other things). There was an incident where their friend’s little one had a number two accident on the floor… Cindy knew she’d be the one to handle it best, so she ate that too! She loved being on grass and loved chasing her brother Solomon. Cindy was just as tough as she was fun and vibrant, she fought hard all the way until the very end. She is so deeply loved and wonderfully remembered by all, especially her dad Steve, her mom Michal, and her brother Solomon.
Nalu Mathews
March 22, 2009- June 21,2022
“Beloved companion and loving presence.”
The Mathews ‘ohana brought Nalu home along with his brother Hoku at just 8 weeks old. Nalu means “wave” and his name suited him perfectly as he loved playing in and out of the waves, surfing along to grab his ball. His favorite place was the beach! He was known to sneak out and take himself on beach adventures. Nalu also had love affair with food, his ‘ohana remembers one Easter that he and Hoku managed to eat about four dozen “hidden” hard boiled eggs! He was known for stealing slippers and hearts with his constant need for love and pets. Nalu was a big presence who was always on the go! To know him was to love him and he will be greatly missed by all, especially his fur brother Hokule’a and his ‘ohana Barbara, Marv, and their grandchildren.
Pearl Morrison
~2011-2022
A.k.a- “Brown Eyes, Sweet P”
God brought Pearl into my life in 2013 as a rescue, she saved me from a lifetime filled with regret and isolation. Family and friends joined us together and it was an obvious perfect match from the first day. Pearl is a gentle, loving creature who transformed my house into a home. Her enthusiastic greetings at the door melted my heart every time, even if it was only going out for the mail. Pearl also introduced me to so many neighbors during our walks and also by living up to her beagle lineage as an escape artist. She was lonely while I was away for work, so she went out to make new friends, until I finally escape-proofed the yard. In 2019 we moved to Oahu and one of our favorite outings was visiting the windward beaches for sunrise. In both the natural beauty and her gentle soul, I could experience God’s love and grace. Throughout her life, I continued learning how from her to enjoy even the most simple things of life’s joy and to always express my gratitude. Pearl still has her forever home in my heart. In loving memories, forever!
Pebbles Murdock
July 7,2007- March 19, 2022
The Murdock ‘ohana picked up the runt of the litter along with her bigger sibling after sadly losing their first Beagle to an auto immune deficiency. Their boys Brett and Ryan decided to name them Cocoa and Pebbles after the cereal Cocoa Pebbles, they later named their third Beagle Oreo. Pebbles wasn’t one for tricks, but she certainly had a love affair with food- especially if it involved spaghetti, pizza, or Costco’s rotisserie chicken! One of their most treasured memories was their airport arrival, seeing people’s faces as they came in carrying 3 very eager kenneled Beagles. Pebbles was a people pup who didn’t enjoy being left alone and her presence is already greatly missed around the Murdock home. She is wonderfully remembered by her people- Ryan, Brett, Jeni, Madison, Matthew, David and Diana along with her fur ‘ohana Oreo, Rosie, and Lily.
U’ilani Neumann
May 11, 2009- November 4, 2022
A.k.a- “U’i, Puakea”
A long night spent helping a friend’s dog who was in labor brought the gift of 12 sweet puppies! Of these puppies, ‘Ula’ went on to have babies of his own a few years down the line. One of those babies being sweet U’ilani! The day Jayson became her forever human he was enjoying some Hawaiian food and came back from the parking lot with her in his arms. His friend Liz who was studying Hawaiian language immediately said U’ilani and he decided that was it! One of Jayson’s favorite memories involve a time he was living and working on a kava or awa farm in Honokaa… He would bring U’i into the fields via the farm truck and one day she decided to leap out of the truck landing full speed ahead, play chasing the grazing cows scattered around her! She was also known to stand and jump around waiting for treats. U’ilani was as smart as she was charming and understood “sit, stay, and lay down” in the Hawaiian language. Her favorites were salmon, chicken, beef bone and even lettuce sometimes. She loved the beach and didn’t mind the surf, she was just happy to be cruising with her people. U’I enjoyed rough housing with her fur buddies, shredding up coconuts, and tug of war with anything you could imagine! She loved pulling Jayson by skateboard and had an excellent intuition… she even managed to tear up a mattress to create some literal distance between her dad and a relationship that wasn’t the best fit! Having U’ilani by his side was one of this life’s greater blessings that enriched his life in ways far greater than he could express. U’i is so wonderfully remembered by all, especially her human dad Jayson, Ahi Wela (her grandma),Ula (her bio dad), B Boy (her fur friend), James, Liz, Ikaika, Gina, Angelina, and Angela.
Bella Nitta
March 2004- May 2022
Lei’s daughter was in high school when Lei heard the wonders that having a pet can do for supporting mental health. After being referred to a local breeder, she and her ‘ohana decided to take the leap and take home a 1-year-old pup named Bella. Bella had a spunky and happy-go-lucky personality and got most excited hearing Brittney’s car pull up in the driveway! She was her shadow and made sure Brittney had company no matter what she was doing. She loved a delicious Thanksgiving turkey dinner and enjoyed her chicken treats. Bella also enjoyed a nice walk and as she got older, a lovely stroll in the neighborhood in her pet stroller! She was a fighter who survived two dog attacks and surgery after eating 24 rock pieces. Bella’s ‘ohana will miss her adoring eyes and her sweet butterfly ears, to know her was to love her. She is so missed and wonderfully remembered by all, especially Brittney and Lei.
Peanut Okino
September 15, 2007- December 12, 2022
A.k.a- “Nutty, Nut-Nut, P-P-P-Nut, Nutty Buddy”
After scrolling through Craig’s list, Germaine came across a “free dog” that perfectly fit the description of the type of fur baby she’d been looking for. Her new baby was so very tiny, she decided to name her Peanut. Peanut proved to be expensive for a “free dog”, but worth absolutely every penny! She loved doing tricks for treats: sit, shake, lay down, roll over and speak. Even when she was just asked to sit, she automatically did them all in the same order anticipating her yummy reward! Peanut was also a fan of anything that squeaked, all food (especially Romaine lettuce!), car rides, park walks, and most of all spending time with her people. Back when she first joined her family, she was known as the best bedtime reminder by heading straight to bed whenever she was ready! Peanut had multiple medical issues from an early age and proved to be quite the miracle baby with her strength and resilience, her presence lit up the room and is so greatly missed. Though there are far too many amazing memories to count (even the naughty ones!), they remain deeply cherished by her ‘ohana. A beautiful soul who could never be replaced and her mommy’s world, Peanut is so wonderfully remembered by all. Especially Germaine, Blaine, Helene, Roy and Yuri.
Mulligan Pang
March 30, 2005- June 13, 2022
A.k.a- “Mully”
Mulligan came to the Pang ‘ohana at 11 months old, they suspect he got his name from living by a golf course with his previous owners. “To take a Mulligan” is when your first shot goes away in the sport of golf! Though the whole ‘ohana treasured Mulligan and vise versa, he was Jamie’s shadow following her around everywhere she went and became her loyal companion. He loved to engage in a little game of hide and seek and would frantically check every corner until he found his mom greeting her with a leaping hug! Mulligan loved Cheetos and loved heading to the tennis court to run around while his people played tennis. His known tricks were to roll over and steal hearts with his sweet, loving eyes! He never slept alone and loved his ‘ohana dearly. They all miss him greatly, he is so wonderfully remembered by all.. especially Jamie, Oscar and Milo.
Nami Reynolds
May 24, 2007- February 11, 2022
A.k.a- “Princess”
Chris picked up a runt of the litter from a co-worker and brought her home, since he was a first-time pet owner Emy offered to help him out with training and care. Though they initially agreed that Emy would take her for the day and bring her home to Chris each night, in time Emy highjacked Nami and her baby she would remain. They decided to name her Nami meaning “ocean wave” in Japanese. Nami went just about everywhere with Emy and thanks to her size she was even often caught snoozing away loudly in her mom’s purse! People seemed confused until she opened her bag revealing an adorable tiny pup getting some quality rest.
Nami was known to have some OCD with her food, it would not be eaten if her food bowl wasn’t on a towel. She also had quite a routine with her mixed dinner by separating foods with the ultimate precision! Since Nami was so tiny when they first got her, her ‘ohana decided to use a bell collar to be able to easily find her. This ultimately helped them find her when she snuck under a bed behind some drawers, the only way to get her out was by enticing her with her favorite treats. Nami was sure to share this special hiding spot with her siblings! She loved to play with paper balls, puzzle toys (for the treats of course!), squeeky toys, playing hide and seek, car rides, and walks. She was certainly the boss on her walks and would come to a stop before giving stink eye for trying to take the lead. Her favorite foods were chicken & rice, and Japanese senbei. Nami knew plenty of tricks! Beyond the usuals, she was able to do “karate kid” where she would get up on her hind legs and stick a paw in the air, and sometimes she would do it without even being prompted to let her people know that she wanted something. She also know “bang!” and would fall over, sometimes theatrically and other times just to get it over with! She also enjoyed a nice bath, especially if she had a tummy ache.
Nami was such a memorable and special fur-baby, her ‘ohana often could’ve sworn that she was human for how intelligent and intuitive she was. Though they take comfort that she is resting in love and playing with other fur babies over the rainbow bridge, they deeply miss their Nami. Wonderfully remembered by all, especially Emy (mom), Baba (grandma), Jiji (grandpa), and Chris (dad).
Mei Russin
March 1, 2008- February 4, 2022
A.k.a- “Mabel, Maybelline, Mei-Mei”
Hannah’s brother adopted Mei meaning “little sister” along with her older sister but as soon as she moved away to school with Hannah, she began living the good life of an inside dog. Mei loved food and her most preferred meal was whatever was on her parents’ plates! She knew better than to steal from them but knew the power of her puppy dog eyes and usually that was enough to get them to share. Mei got super excited when mom and dad started getting their shoes on as she knew a walk was soon to follow. Though she enjoyed her strolls, nothing beat being lazy and snuggled up on their bed. Another favorite spot was the couch and one time when a friend sat there, she attempted to stare them down until they were uncomfortable enough to move. When that didn’t work, she made herself a seat sandwiched between folks. Mei was an affectionate girl and loved giving big wet kisses but preferred that the attention stay on her! She would get jealous when mom and dad shared a smooch, sneaking her way in between them to steal kisses. Mei was friendly but her favorite person was her dad Louis, they were attached at the hip as he was her legs after she could no longer get around. She is so wonderfully remembered and loved by all- especially Hannah, Louis, and her Chiweenie sister Atlas.
Marley Starr
Deb and Joe went to the Humane Society on a whim when an Australian Kelpie named Marley chose them to be her forever ‘ohana! She enjoyed her walks, car rides, and pretty much anything her family had on their dinner plates. Marley was known to howl back at the siren tests sounded on the first of the month, letting them know everything was working just fine. She was also known for being good with her paws, she could easily open the screen door using her left front paw and this was something she taught herself how to do. Marley would also use her paws to clear a comfortable spot for herself on the couch knocking over any pillows in her way, and to hold her food bowl in place while enjoying a meal. She was bright, loving, obedient, and an amazing friend. Marley is so wonderfully remembered by all who knew her, especially her ‘ohana Joe, Debbie and Thelma.
Honeygirl Waiwaiole-Rosete
March 5, 2004- April 26, 2022
A.k.a- “Nene Girl”
After Dina’s grandfather passed away, she took over Honeygirl’s care and from rags to riches she went by becoming an indoor dog. Back when she lived with grandpa he would brush her every day, then she moved on to becoming the queen of her household and sneaking her furbrother’s treats away! She would also run into the house and skid across the bare floors out of control just to get back up and do it again. Honeygirl was always grateful for every meal and toy. She also had the best smile, her ‘ohana will never forget seeing it after taking her for her first puppy make over or picking her up from her first major surgery loopy and wearing a lei. One year for her birthday they decided to make her a Tomahawk steak dinner and though she had barely any teeth, she cleaned her plate empty! She was so full that she couldn’t even walk straight but every last bite counted. Her furbrother still looks for her and sleeps in her bed from time to time, she is so missed but her ‘ohana knows she’s in a better place watching over them with love. Honeygirl was treasured by all- especially George Rosete, Dina Paron, Andrew Waiwaiole, Keisy, and Sig.
