We’ve had our first fur baby, Botox, for 13 amazing years. He has seen us grow into mature adults as we got married, bought our first condo, and then house. He was there with us for the birth of our 3 human babies. He taught us how to be parents. To say losing him is a loss is a huge understatement. He is the reason we are a family. To have the choice to be able to provide comfort care for our beloved dog at the end of his life is priceless. Just as we did for my own father, we wanted our golden child, Botox, to die with us in peace at home. And to have Arms of Aloha provide this selfless service is a wondeful option for families like ours. Dr. Naun came at our scheduled time and offered words of comfort and support. She was empathetic and sympathetic and talked us through the process. Botox was sedated and put to sleep in the comforts of his own home and surrounded by his mom and dad. We heard his last breath and held him to the end. Dr. Naun gently transferred him to her car with a handmade quilt and reassured us he was to be treated with love and care. A few days later, we received a paw print and shavings of his hair in the mail. Nothing could be more beautiful. Thank you Arms of Aloha for providing exceptional hospice care for my fur baby and giving dignity and comfort to our family.

From the moment I reached out, their response time was incredibly fast — they were available and ready to help almost immediately, which provided such comfort during an emotional time.The team was not only professional and efficient but also deeply compassionate. They treated both our beloved pet and our family with the utmost respect and sensitivity. The aftercare, including cremation, was completed with an impressively quick turnaround.

Dr Amanda was wonderful. The entire experience was amazing. My daughter, who was only 6 years old, was there to witness the passing of our beloved golden lab. Dr Amanda took the time explaining the steps and used simple terminology so that my daughter can kind of understand what will happen to our dog. There were so much tears, but Dr Amanda was very professional and calm. She made sure we had enough time to say our goodbyes to our 16 years old dog and she never rushed us. After our dog passed at her favorite spot in the yard, she brought blankets and pillow in for our dog to carry to her car. She even had the song “Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwoole playing in her car. I can’t think of a better way to send our dog over the rainbow bridge. The team continue to check in with us after the day our dog passed to make sure we are okay. We definitely recommend Arms of Aloha.

My pup Pā’ele declined rather quickly so I frantically began my research for pet euthanasia options. I ultimately decided to use Arms of Aloha and I have to say, it was absolutely the right choice. I could not have pictured my dog’s final moments going any better. There was so much compassion and grace throughout the entire process. Booking the appointment was so easy and helped take my mind off of what was to come. The confirmation calls and emails were not solely about business, it was clear that there were people passionate about animals behind the communications. Dr. Amanda was great, she was so considerate of my dog and my family. Everything felt as peaceful as it could have. Dr. Amanda explained the process, made sure Pā’ele was ok and that my family got all the time we needed. She even provided us tissues! Even the way Pā’ele was prepared for transport was beautiful. He looked so comfortable and at peace. It’s clear that every single detail has been looked over, refined and designed to make it all as painless as possible. A few days later, I received a call from the Arms of Aloha Chaplain and some reminders that Arms of Aloha is not just for pet euthanasia but also a resource for those who are struggling with losing their pet. I’m so glad that I chose to utilize Arms of Aloha and should I need this type of service again I will not hesitate to call them.
