Earlier this month, my family had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put our sweet, beautiful 15-year old Lab Jasmine to sleep. Dr. Naun came to our home and was empathetic and professional and gave us space and time to grieve. She explained the procedure and what we should expect. I won't go into details because they're too painful for me, but our sweet girl had the dignity of a peaceful goodbye. She simply fell asleep and crossed the rainbow bridge. Everything from the initial phone call, to the procedure, to the receiving of our girl's ashes and clay paw print (along with grief resources and a bookmark with wildflowers that you can plant in memoriam), to the sympathy card received a couple of days later, and a call from a chaplain with Pet Last Support that works with Arms of Aloha, everything was handled with dignity, grace, and care. Euthanizing your beloved pet is not something anyone who loves their animals ever wants to go through, but when it is time, Arms of Aloha will be there to guide you through.
